Just in Ballerina, Red Riding Hood & MORE COMING... another  adorable new music box - "Alice w/Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum" - these are really great (all the musicals) and are very affordable.  Each one of these musicals  have ooak heads on the dolls but the paper clay pieces are all the same and the costuming is the same. They will make three to five heads at a time to keep consistency. The prices are really affordable and we will be showing you "Little Red riding hood" and her wolf, a new ballerina and many more... Be sure to order early! The are selling quickly!

This is the first with an adorable castle.  We have also updated this page with the work we had at our last 2009 October show and Lucia is featured below. Lucia is really busy working on custom orders for us now and she will be participating in our doll show in October 2010 with many new pieces. Be sure to contact kmalone@dollery.com if you see a piece here or elsewhere that you have fallen in love with and is already sold. Lucia and her mother do custom orders similar BUT not exact. Each are one of a kinds sculpt. Moulds are not use.

Friedericy has been a family collaboration in doll making since 1987.  Originally between brother and sister, John and Lucia Friedericy and currently between Lucia and her mother Judith who took over in 1990 upon John's death.  Judith sculpts the dolls heads, hands and feet in porcelain clay.  Lucia paints and applies wax to the pieces.. She also fashions the bodies and costumes.   Each piece is a hand sculpted one-of-a-kind piece. No two are exactly alike as there are no molds.  Their pieces are highly sought after. Enjoy!

We had admired Friedericy dolls for many, many years before we carried it.. Every-year people stand in line to purchase their amazing wax over porcelain clay dolls. We have never seen a year that their table of one-of-a-kinds in New York lasted more then one hour! It is still the case year after year. This year she sold out immediately at Idex once again!
