Susan Krey Bio: Susan is famous for her "Krey babies" which have been among the "cover girls" on the national magazines and at the tops of the Doty and Dolls Award of Excellence lists for years. She is a world renowned doll artist who is best known for her work in wax over porcelain which seems to capture the realistic warm glow of real children. Susan was born and raised in London and she currently resides in Washington state. Her love of bringing up her children sparked an innate creativity in her as far back as 1981 when she began creating beautiful small limited edition dolls in porcelain and wax over porcelain. Susan joined our DOLLERY team in 1992.

This dark eyed beauty wears a spectacular gown of rich blue silk.
The bodice is deep blue velvet over a soft turquoise organdy blouse.
Her full skirt has a beaded front panel and her traditional sixteenth century head dress is blue velvet trimmed with pearls.




	Jola and Bush baby - Dollery Favorite! LE = 5 28” tall $3,495 This Beautiful African girl wears a multi colored sarong and headdress, her face and ears are delicately tattooed. 	Princess Elizabeth - Very "Classic Krey" LE = 5 30” tall $2,995 (Later to become Queen Elizabeth 1 of England) Elizabeth wears a long flowing gown of luxurious soft green brocade and satin trimmed with creamy silk organdy. 	The Virgin Queen - Very interesting face - different! LE = 5 30” tall $3,495 Queen Elizabeth I of England wears a stunning gown of cream taffeta with a sumptuously full skirt; the front panel is decorated with silk ribbon. From her shoulders flows two separate panels of embroidered silk that trail behind her like a train adding to her regal formality. Her typical 16^th century corset type bodice is also delicately embroidered. Her whitened face is framed by a characteristically standup collar of embroidered organdy. Missy Woodland is dressed in a one of a kind delicate lemon chiffon silk dress with glass bugle beads. The edge has been frayed. The under dress is also silk with a full petal hem. Her crown is an antique German wedding head dress that Susan had been saving for years.
